The Vermont Vehicle & Automotive Distributors Association (formerly the Vermont Automobile Dealers Association) is a non-profit trade association formed in 1945 to advance the interests of the Vermont retail automotive industry. The association represents its members on all issues involving automotive sales and service before Vermont’s legislative and executive branches and at the federal level in conjunction with the National Automobile Dealers Association.
VADA’s primary mission is to promote and protect the automotive industry for the good of our members and the customers they serve. VADA encourages and promotes cooperation with government, civic, and consumer groups in promulgating legislation, improving automotive standards, raising industry awareness, and providing services to our members and the public.
Vermont’s automotive-related businesses employ more than 10,000 Vermonters, generate $2 billion in sales and collect or pay more than $114 million in taxes annually.
